Victoria Khanevskaya is in her first year as graduate assistant coach with the Northwestern State tennis program. Khanevskaya comes to NSU following a decorated tennis career at the University of Kansas.
As a senior she posted a 15-11 singles record and 12-9 doubles record including a four-match doubles winning streak. During her senior season, she also picked up one singles and one doubles win in the Big 12 Tournament against opponents from Iowa State.

As a junior, Khanevskaya recorded a team-high six singles victories for the Jayhawks. During the spring 2011 as a sophomore, she set a new career spring singles record, going 8-5 and 2-3 in the Big 12 including wins over Nebraska and Colorado. That fall, she posted a team-leading 10-3 singles record and went 7-6 in doubles play. By reaching 10 wins, Khanevskaya set a fall career-high.

As a freshman, she went 11-12 in dual matches while playing in the No. 6 spot and finished 5-12 in Nos. 2 and 3 doubles. That season, she recorded Big 12 singles wins against Missouri, Colorado, Oklahoma State and Oklahoma to lead the team in Big 12 wins.

Khanevskaya is the daughter of Valentina Khanevskaya and Evgeny Khanevskiy and is a native of Moscow, Russia. She is pursuing a master’s in sports administration while working with the NSU tennis program.
