    Colene Bonnette returned to Northwestern State in 2007 after a two-year hiatus, and serves as the women’s soccer and men’s basketball administrative assistant.

    The Lake Charles native spent two years as the administrative assistant for sports information prior to accepting a job off campus.

    Colene is very active in the Natchitoches community, serving as the Vice President of the Service League of Natchitoches.  She enjoys scrapbooking, traveling and spending time with her family.

    She’s married to Matthew Bonnette, NSU’s associate sports information director, and the couple has two daughters, Haley who is 11 and a sixth grader at the NSU Middle Lab School, and Katelyn, who turned 8 in November and is in the second grade at the NSU-E Lab school.  Haley is also a member of her school’s danceline.
