Records Watch: With 762 career total points scored, McPhail is looking to join an elite group of Lady Demons players, 24 in school history, as reaching the 1,000 career points scored mark.
Junior (2009-10): Finished second on the team with 120 defensive rebounds and tied for third with 151 overall boards... played in all 31 games and started 24... second on the team with 27 blocked shots - one off the team lead... scored double-figures in 14 games with a season-high 22 points to go along with nine rebounds in the Lady Demons’ conference tournament win over Stephen F. Austin on March 9... followed that game with a 13 point, 8 rebound performance against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi in the semifinals... scored 21 points on 8 of 12 shooting, with seven rebounds, against Austin Peay on Nov. 28... averaged 17 points and 8.5 rebounds while connecting on 11 of 17 (64.7%) in two league tournament games.
Sophomore (2008-09): Averaged 8.7 points and 3.7 rebounds per game after playing in all 31 games with 28 starts… ranked second in the SLC in 3-point FG shooting at 39.5 percent… connected on 40 percent of her shots from the floor and 79 percent from the free throw line… finished second on the team with 55 assists… had 13 double-digit scoring games… scored a career-high 23 points on 7 of 13 shooting at Arkansas-Pine Bluff… connected on 5 of 6 from 3-point range in that game, helping the Lady Demons to tying the school record (14) for 3-pointers made in a game… had 10 boards, a career-high, in that contest for her only double-double of the season.
Freshman (2007-08): Ranked fourth on the team in scoring with a 7.6 per game average… also pulled down 4.0 rebounds per game… fourth on the team with 51 assists… connected on 42 percent of her shots from the field and 63 percent from the free throw line… scored in double-digits 11 times with a high of 17 points against UTSA on Jan. 19… scored 15 points and a season-best nine rebounds against McNeese on Jan. 24… averaged 7.4 points and 3.6 rebounds in conference games only… played in all 30 games with 28 starts.
High School: A five-time all-state player for South Australia, McPhail helped lead her teams to two Silver Medal National Championships (freshman, junior) and three Bronze Medals (sophomore, senior)... awarded the SACE academic award after graduating with a 3.0 gpa.
