Taylor Clark comes to Northwestern State after a four-year playing career for the Arkanas-Monticello Blossoms.
In her senior year she played in 27 games averaging 6.2 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 1.4 assists per game.
The Searcy, Ark. native graduated from UAM with a degree in health and physical education.
She made the Dean’s List six semesters, Chancellor’s List one semester, and apart of the Student Athlete Advisory Committe every year she attended UAM.
At Searcy High School she was a four-year letterwinner under Coach Birdsong.
She was a McDonald All-American nominee and a honor graduate.
Clark volunteered for the Special Olympics, Arkansas Children’s Hospital, Run for the Cure, and fundrasing for Breast Cancer and Prostate Cancer.
She was involved in the “So You Want To Be a Coach” program in Denver where she had the opportunity to learn, meet, and introduced herself to several different coaching styles. She was also a part of the 2012 Final Four in Denver.
The daughter of Youles and Rhonda Clark has one sister, McKenzie. She was born in Feb. 19, 1990.
