Now in her second year on the Lady Demon coaching staff after a superb playing career at Northwestern State is Sandy Pugh.
Pugh, whose duties include on the floor coaching, film exchange, and recruiting, has made the successful adjustment from what was a stellar playing career into a promising future as a coach.
During the 1986-87 campaign, Pugh enjoyed one of the finest seasons in Lady Demon hoop history averaged 21.1 points per game along with 8.9 rebounds in gaining Most Valuable Player honors in the Gulf Star Conference.
