A native of Bossier City, Dan McGrath was an assistant coach at LSU-Shreveport for one year. He has been a volunteer AAU coach for the past four years and a little league coach for the past 10 years. Dan and his wife Debora have two children, Daniel and Travis.  He earned a degree in Health and Human Performance from LSU-Shreveport and is currently pursuing a Master's in Sport Administration from NSU.
