Amber Sanders is a sophomore education major at NSU.

She graduated from Ruston High School in 2011 where she lettered in track, basketball, and volleyball.  She earned Academic All-State her senior seasons. 

At Ruston she was a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Spanish Club.

She is the daughter of LaWanda and Stacy Sanders and has two sisters, Jalena and Laycie.  Her father is a retired Army veteran. 

She hopes to become and elementary school teacher after graduation.
