Amber Lamers, of Kennedale, Texas, is a psychology and addiction studies major and is in her first season with the women's basketball team.

She graduated from Kennedale High School with a 3.5 grade point average. The junior wants to attend graduate school after graduation and wants to work in the legal system.

Lamers is the daughter of Robbie Matheson and Dan Lamers, and has one step-sister, Kelsey Hattersley.
