Adrian Valadez is in his fourth season at Northwestern State, taking on a new role as Director of Basketball Operations following his time as a graduate assistant his first two years in Natchitoches.

Valadez handles much of the day-to-day operations within the Lady Demon program including equipment management and distribution along with serving as video coordinator for the team and staff.

Prior to his enrollment at NSU, Valadez spent three years as a student manager for the University of Texas women's basketball program where he was responsible for much of the daily operation within that program. He helped in the development of players during summer workout by facilitating specific drills, assisted with video and scouting of opponents and helped the support staff with official recruiting visits.

During the summer of 2021 he worked with the Dallas Wings of the WNBA as assistant team operations personnel, assisting with equipment management and practices.

Valadez received his bachelor of science in kinesiology and health education from Texas in May of 2020 and is pursuing a masters in sports administration while at NSU.
