Biography

Senior (2014-15):
• Owns two of the top 10 seasons in terms of made 3-pointers in school history after hitting three against Houston Baptist in the Southland Conference Tournament championship game. 
• grabbed 12 rebounds and hit a key 3-pointer late in the second half of a 70-64 overtime victory against Lamar in the SLC Tournament semifinals on March 14. 
• regained her shooting stroke, burying 4 of 7 3-pointers in an 84-67 SLC Tournament quarterfinal win against Nicholls on March 13. 
• sank at least four 3-pointers for the fourth time in conference play in a 75-63 win at New Orleans on Feb. 21. 
• drained three 3-pointers against Stephen F. Austin, including the 100th of her career. One of those put NSU up 59-58 in the last two minutes.
• connected on four 3-pointers and made all seven of her free throws in a career-best 27-point performance in a 75-54 win against McNeese State on Jan. 24. 
• buried four 3-pointers and had a game-high four steals in a 66-59 win at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi on Jan. 14.
• scored 11 of her 13 points in the second half of a 66-57 victory at Sam Houston on Jan. 5, hitting three 3-pointers and three go-ahead baskets in the final 20 minutes.
• set a season-best in 3-pointers made for a second straight game, hitting five en route to a career-high 19 points in a 78-68 win against Houston Baptist on Jan. 2.
• grabbed three steals and hit a season-best three 3-pointers in a Dec. 29 loss at No. 18 Oklahoma State, finishing with nine points.
• posted the team’s first double-digit rebounding game of the season, grabbing 10 boards against Jackson State on Dec. 20.
• scored eight of her season-best 12 points, including two big 3-pointers, in a 61-56 victory against Arkansas-Monticello on Dec. 17.
• knocked down a pair of second-half 3-pointers, grabbed a team-best seven rebounds and swiped a career-best four steals at Grambing on Dec. 6.
• tied a season-high with six rebounds (four offensive) in a 71-43 Dec. 1 win against Central Baptist College.
• Tied a career high with six assists against LSU-Alexandria on Nov. 25. 
Also scored eight points and tied another career high with three steals. 
• grabbed a season-high six rebounds against LSUA.
• showed her versatility in a win against her hometown university (Louisiana Tech), scoring 10 points, grabbing five rebounds and handing out five assists.
• hit the 1,000-minute mark in her career at the end of the La. Tech victory.
• scored five points, grabbed four rebounds and chipped in three assists in the season-opening win against LeTourneau. 



Junior (2013-14):
• Scored the first points of her career against Houston when she got the start and scored seven points. She made arguably the most crucial play in the second half when she secured an offensive rebound on a missed free throw to give NSU a chance to keep Houston from tying the game.
• Set new career-high in points (8), rebounds (9) field goal attempts (8), field goals made (3), and assists (3) vs. Texas San-Antonio in the Athletes in Action Classic.
• Grabbed the first double-double of her career against Savannah State with 10 points and 12 rebounds.
• Scored a career-high 12 points in back-to-back games to open the conference season. She also set a new career-high in assists versus Sam Houston State.
• Set a new career-high of 18 points on six 3-pointers in the win over Nicholls.
• Bounced back from a scoreless outing against Lamar to sink 4-of-5 from behind the arc and 6-of-7 from the field in the conference championship against Stephen F. Austin.
• Started in all but two contests, averaging 27.3 minutes per game. 

Prior to NSU:  Academic All-American at Jacksonville College… graduated with a 3.8 grade point average...eight points, seven rebounds, four assists... team leader with three steals per game..shot 80-percent from the free-throw line.
 
High School:  Letterman in both basketball and track... member of the Honor Society... won the Lincoln Parish  Academic Award... coached by Ruby Qualls, Ricky Durrett, David Aguilar... attended Arcadia High School before transfering to Ruston High School. 
 
Personal:  Daughter of Sheronda Rogers… four brothers, Munterrius Gipson, GregoryRogers, Kourtney Roberson, and Tyler Rogers… one sister, Tyra… born February 2, 1993… nickname is Chels… majoring in nursing and wants to work as a registered nurse after graduation.
