Marc-Ale Augustin is beginning his second season as the athletic trainer for Northwestern State track and field.
Augustin worked with cross country in the fall and will transition to track this spring.
The Ohio State graduate worked with various Buckeye sports as an undergraduate, including football, soccer, wrestling and aquatics. He earned a degree in athletic training in spring 2021.
He assisted Northland High and the Jameson Crane Sports Medicine Institute among his other duties outside of college athletics.
Augustin is a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association and is board certified in Louisiana and certified in first aid and life support.
Augustin started the NSU master’s program for health promotion this fall.
