2022 Southland Conference Commissioner’s Spring Honor Roll

2023 Outdoor Season: Competed in the javelin ... Tossed a season-best 158-7 at the Leon Johnson NSU Invitational to place sixth ... Threw a 154-7 to place fourth in the Battle on the Bayou ... Also collected fourth-place finishes at the TCU Alumni Invite (152-0) and Cowboy Relays (148-11) ... Posted a 156-8 at the Southland Conference championships, finishing 10th.

2023 Indoor Season: Did not compete in the indoor season.


2022 Outdoor Season: Threw five times in the javelin ... saved his best performance for the end of the year, throwing a personal-best (153-1) at the Southland Conference Championships, finishing ninth ... Also threw at the Carl Kight Invitational & Multis (148-3), Baylor Invitational (152-11), Mississippi College Season Opener (140-6) and earning a third place finish at TCU (145-11).

2022 Indoor Season: Did not compete.

Before NSU: Attended LSU in 2021 but didn’t appear on the track roster … at Berchman’s School, didn’t compete in track but did play football and basketball … football team was ACEL champions.

Personal: Son of Sihun Park and Ilseon Cho … mom owns a small business and dad is a boxing coach … dad won boxing gold as a light middleweight in the 1988 Olympics and was an Olympics Coach for most of Rei’s life … business major who wants to compete for South Korea or be an accountant … was an elite youth baseball player in South Korea … life’s ambition is to have a family.
