Devin Thulin joined the Northwestern State sports medicine staff as a graduate assistant athletic trainer in 2015, where he is continuing his education working towards his M.S. in Sports Administration.  His primary clinical responsibilities involve working with the men’s basketball team.  

Thulin owns two degrees from the University of Kansas - a B.S. in athletic training (2015) and a B.A. in Psychology with a minor in business (2011).  While serving as an athletic training student from 2012-2015, he worked with Haskell Indian Nations, the Kansas football, women’s rowing and track and field teams, and Eudora High School.  With Haskell, Thulin worked with all school sports including volleyball, men’s and women’s basketball, football, and track and field.  As a psychology student in Lawrence, Kansas, Thulin worked as a suicide counselor from 2010-2012.  He also completed an summer internship with Major League Soccer’s Sporting Kansas City in 2014.

Thulin, a native of Shawnee, Kansas, has been an NATABOC Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) since 2015,  a Certified First Aid & CPR/AED Instructor for the Professional Rescuer since 2014.  He received his Graston M1 Certification in 2013.
