Daniel Temple is in his first year as a graduate manager on the Northwestern State men’s basketball staff.
Temple, a Many High School graduate, played three years of basketball at LSU-Shreveport where he earned bachelor’s degree in community health. He currently is pursuing a master’s degree in sports administration.
While at LSUS, Temple was part of a Pilots program that reached the NAIA Final Four in 2013 and captured the 2013-14 Red River Athletic Conference championship.
Temple was awarded the 2014 Champions of Charater award from the NAIA and was a first-team Champion of Character member in the RRAC that year.
Prior to playing at LSUS, Temple was a student manager at Louisiana Tech during the 2010-11 season.
Temple is the son of Harold Temple and Cheryl and Donald Russell and is a member of Sigma Nu fraternity. He has one sister, Sarah.
