Coaching Experience: Joined the Demon staff last summer and helped NSU move into contention for an FCS playoff berth and a conference championship entering November.
Playing Experience: A three-time all-conference defensive back and a four-year starter, Brown won a national player of the week award for blocking two field goals in a win. He finished with an amazing eight blocked field goals as a senior. Brown also earned three conference player of the week honors during his career at McPherson (Kansas). At Lawton (Okla.) High, he was a defensive back and receiver, and made 2007 Oklahoma Coaches’ All-State along with winning all-district honors as a defensive back.
Personal: He has a 2-year-old daughter, Brooklyn Paige Brown. Born Oct. 8, 1988 in Lawton, he is the son of David and Jill Brown. He has four siblings: Audrey, Shelby and Wesley Brown, and Brittnie Marcus.
