2023 Cross Country: Posted a personal best in the 4m with a 26:29.5 at the Cowboy Stampede ... began the season with a 51st place finish in the 6k at the Lamar Early Bird Opener, running a 24:09.8 ... clocked a 22:01.7 in the 5.2k at the Rice Invitational ... ran a 31:09.0 in the 8k at the Watson Collegiate Cross Country Classic ... posted a 76th place finish at the Southland Conference Championships, clocking a 33:05.6.

2022 Cross Country: Started his collegiate career with a 6k at the McNeese Season Opener (9/2) with a time 21:50.0. Ran a 7k at the ULM Warhawk Invite (9/17) and finished with a time of 25:39.0. Ran a time of 30:36.2 in the 8k at the University of Arkansas Chile Pepper Festival (10/1). Competed in his first Conference Championship and placed 81st in the 8k with a time of 30:51.0. 

High School: Attended Converse High School where he ran Track/Cross Country and played Basketball… Was a member of the National Beta Society, FCA, and the LA Gear Up Club… Placed 4th at the Class B State Track Championship in the mile with a time of 4:57, as well as being the Regional Champion in the mile his Junior Year… Placed 4th at the Class B State Track Championship in the mile his Senior Year as well as becoming the Regional Champion once again in the mile that same year.

Personal: Son of Wendi and Mark Wright of Converse, LA… Majoring in Biology and Biomedical Concentration with aspirations to attend Medical School to become a Radiologist.
