2022 Cross Country: Placed 24th with a PR time of 19:34.9 in the 6k at the McNeese Season Opener (9/2). Ran a PR in the 7k at the ULM Warhawk Invitational (9/17), placing 17th overall.
2021 Cross Country: Ran a 5k PR & placed 3rd at the SFA Lumberjack Opener (9/3) with a time of 16:58.9. Placed 7th at the Louisiana Tech Mook 4 (9/18) 4M with a time of 21:27.8. PRd in the 4M at the Lake Charles Cowboy Stampede (9/25) placing 22nd with a time of 20:36.2. Ran another PR in the 8k with a time of 26:31.4 at the Arturo Barrios Invitational (10/16). Placed 42nd at the Southland Conference Championship with a time of 27L49.2 in the 4.97M.
2020 Cross Country: NSU did not compete in cross country because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
2019 Cross Country: Best finish occurred at the SFA Home Opener where he finished sixth (17:07.0, 5K) … placed 20th at the Louisiana Tech Mook Invitational (23:20.8, 4M) prior to an 85th-place finish at the Southland Conference Championships (27:25.0, 8K) … earned Southland Fall Commissioner’s Honor Roll recognition.
High School: Led Sanger High to three top-seven finishes at the Texas Class 4A state cross country meet... two of those three finishes were third and fourth-place respectively... personal best in the 5K is 16:32... in track and field, ran the 800, 1600, and 3200 meters... all-state track team as a senior with a 1:59 in the 800 meters... placed fourth at state in the 800 meters as a senior after winning a region title... accomplished 1600 runner who placed sixth at state and fourth in the region during his career... personal best in the 1600 of 4:27 with a 3200 meters best of 10:02... academic all-state in cross country for three seasons... played three seasons of varsity basketball and one year of baseball... academic all-district in basketball for three seasons... member of the National Honor Society, including vice president... member of the National Science Honor Society, including as a secretary... student council member who served as treasurer.
Personal: Son of Stephen and Kathy Vidourek... mother Kathy is a high school math teacher... father Stephen is an accountant... older sister Lauren... majoring in business/computer information systems ... wants to run professionally after graduate school, living in the northeast while working remotely and being able to travel ... avid basketball player and movie watcher.
