2009 Season: A member of the Lady Demon 4x400 meter relay team that placed fourth in both the indoor and outdoor SLC Championships... ranked ninth in the SLC in outdoor competition in the 400 meter hurdles with a PB of 1:03.18... she achieved that in the semifinals in the SLC meet to advance to the finals, but did not finish the race in the finals.

High School: Did not compete in track in high school but lettered three years in basketball... graduated in the top five of her class with a 3.8 gpa... Senior Scholar of the Year and 'A' Honor Roll... Senior Class Vice President... National Honor Society.

Personal: Born Carmen Shanise Wallace on October 16, 1987... daughter of Kenneth and Sharon Wallace... three brothers, Kenneth, Jermaine and Armon, and two sisters, Nadine and Arnedia... mother played basketball for the Lady Demons while brother, Jermaine, became a NSU hero when his three-pointer with 0.5 second remaining lifted the Demons to a 64-63 win over Iowa in the first round of the 2006 NCAA Basketball Tournament... majoring in electronic engineering and will graduate in the fall of 2010... plans to attend graduate school.
