2024 Season (Freshman): Competed in three events as a freshman for the Demons ... placed 34th in the season opener in the 5K at the McNeese Opener, clocking an 18:06.1 ... ran a 19:52.0 in the 5.2K at the Rice Invitational ... clocked a 32:50.7 in the 8K at the Mook 4 Invitational to finish in 46th place.

High School: Lettered in both cross country and track for Lafayette High … all-district two years in a row in cross country … placed second in the 2-mile and third in the mile in his senior year for the district meet … set personal bests as a senior in the 800 (2:14), mile (4:50) and 2-mile (10:24).
 
Personal: Son of Nicole Daspit and Frank Brasseaux … has one brother (Brandon) and one sister (Madelyn) … biology major who plans to work in family medicine and become a doctor upon graduation … can do a back flip.
