Brittany Pajuluoma was promoted to Associate Athletic Director for Sports Medicine and Senior Woman Administrator at Northwestern State University in September 2024, following six years as part of the university’s athletic training staff. In addition to her administrative responsibilities, she continues to serve as the athletic trainer for the NSU baseball program and helps oversee the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC).
She began her career at NSU as a graduate assistant working with women’s soccer and football, before returning in the summer of 2018 as Assistant Director of Sports Medicine after a stint at UL Lafayette.
A native of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, Pajuluoma earned her bachelor’s degree in athletic training and exercise science from Southern Utah University, and completed her master’s degree in health and human performance with a concentration in health promotion from Northwestern State in May 2018.
Pajuluoma is a licensed athletic trainer through the State of Louisiana Board of Medical Examiners, a BOC-certified athletic trainer, and a Red Cross-certified professional rescuer. She is a member of both the National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA) and the Louisiana Athletic Trainers’ Association (LATA).
She and NSU Director of Sports Medicine, Kalevi Pajuluoma, were married in December 2023.
