• Tossed 2-3 shutout innings of relief with a strikeout in his Northwestern State debut Feb. 24 at Louisiana Tech.
High School:
• High School: Three-sport letterman for the Panthers.
• four-year letterman for coach Colby Martin on the diamond.
• named honorable mention all-state four times and all-district four times.
• finished his career with 500 strikeouts.
• named all-district MVP as a freshman and as a sophomore.
• also lettered for coach Michael Normand in basketball and coach Rodrick Clarke in track and field.
