Kourtney Adams returns to the Lady Demon program for her third season and will serve as a volunteer assistant after a year of being a student assistant coach. Adams also is a NSU volleyball letterwinner after wrapping up a one-year stint in her senior season in 2010.
Adams was instrumental in helping the Lady Demons post one of the best turnarounds in Division I volleyball last season as they won 10 more games than the previous year.
She led the team with 282 kills and a 2.59 kills per game average and also ranked second on the squad with 269 digs.
Prior to joining the Lady Demons, she was the team captain and a two-time all-conference player at Panola Junior College and East Texas Baptist.
In high school, she was named the 2007-08 Hallsville Athlete of the Year and was a two-time all-state performer. She earned all-district
and all-East Texas three years and played in the state all-star game as a senior.
A native of Hallsville, Texas, Adams is the daughter of Roger and Liz Adams and has one brother, Kyle (24).
