• Played two seasons at Pearl River Community College. 
• batted .341 with five home runs and 40 RBIs and picked up a national JUCO Player of the Week award as a sophomore.
• also played football for two seasons at Pearl River where he was named JUCO Football “Holder of the Year” as a freshman and was an MACJC All-State pick as a sophomore.
• named to the President’s List and the Dean’s List as a 3.7 student.

High School:  
• Lettered four years in both baseball and football at Forrest County Agricultural High School.
• two-time all-state baseball selection as a junior and senior.
• as a senior, batted .460 with three home runs and 33 RBIs.
• batted .405 with a pair of home runs and 27 RBIs as a junior.
• batted .333 with seven doubles and 15 RBIs as a sophomore and .300 with six doubles as a freshman.
• helped lead the football team to four playoff appearances, including the 2014 state championship as the starting quarterback.
• threw for 3,889 yards and 53 touchdowns across his final two seasons and was named all-state as a senior.
