• Reached safely in his first nine career games before suffering an injury at Louisiana Tech on Feb. 24.
• started his career with a six-game hitting streak in which he batted .478 (11 for 23).
• homered for the third time in the series at Central Arkansas on Feb. 22, starting the scoring for the Demons.
• enjoyed a career-best four-hit day, with his second home run of the season, in Game 1 of a Feb. 21 doubleheader at Central Arkansas.
• connected on his first career home run in the Feb. 20 series opener at Central Arkansas.
• was a perfect 3-for-3 with his first career RBI in a Feb. 15 win against UT Arlington.
• started a pivotal 12th-inning double play in an eventual 14-inning win against UT Arlington while also delivering his first career hit -- a 12th-inning double -- in a Feb. 13 win against UT Arlington.
High School:
• Four-year letterman for coaches Jesse Cassard, Craig Costello and Cary Myers’ Eagles.
• named second-team all-district and all-parish as a senior.
• earned first-team all-district, all-parish and all-metro honors as a junior after hitting .370.
• batted .430 as a sophomore, earning first-team all-district, all-parish and all-metro honors.
• Golden Glove awardee at the district level as Live Oak went 30-8.
• named first-team all-district as a freshman after hitting .385 for a 30-win team.
