Tickets
Looking for LHSAA State Football Championship tickets? You're in the right place, just a bit early! The LHSAA will put the tickets on sale shortly after the deciding games this weekend. Tickets will only be sold on a game by game basis. Ticket information including links to purchase will be posted on NSUTickets.com
ALL ticket sales to the LHSAA Football Championships will be done strictly online at NSUtickets.com. Once you purchases your ticket(s), you will be given the option to choose a Print-At-Home Ticket or a Mobile Ticket. All sales are final.
If you need assistance during the University Holiday December 22-23, please email Dr. Haley Taitano at blounth@nsula.edu or call 318-357-4268. We will be working remotely during most of the this time, so email is the best way to get a hold of someone. We will be closed December 24-25 for Christmas.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, Turpin Stadium will be operating under a strict 25% capacity for all games. If there are any tickets remaining on the day of the game, we will sell tickets at the Turpin Stadium Ticket windows until sold out. Ticket booths (Southwest Gate or East Gate) will open 1 hour prior to the first game on each day of the Championships.
Private Suite Rentals
Individuals and/or Groups can rent an enclosed air conditioned private suite with food and beverages for the game. Suite availability is limited. Click HERE for more information

COVID-19 Protocols
- Turpin Stadium will be limited to 25 percent capacity (about 4,000).
- Masks are required for entry into the stadium and should be worn at all times, except when eating and drinking.
- Social distance yourself from fans not in your immediate party.
- Extra sanitary measures including hand sanitizer stations, frequent cleaning of restrooms and seating areas, and in-between games cleaning protocols are in place.
-Tailgating is NOT ALLOWED. NSU Police will enforce the no tailgating policy.
Bag Check Policy
Turpin Stadium has a Clear Bag Policy. Small bags and purses are not allowed in Turpin Stadium. All bags are subject to search by gameday event staff. Items that will not be allowed inside Turpin Stadium include: Bags larger than 12'x12' (backpacks, totes, large purses, etc.), purses, diaper bags, any item that could be used as a weapon (guns, knives, corkscrews, bombs, other sharp objects, or any item deemed inappropriate by gameday staff and/or NSU police), alcohol, drugs, umbrellas, strollers. etc. If a person(s) is caught bringing in oversized bags and/or any item(s) not allowed, they will be asked to return the item(s) to their vehicle or throw it in the nearest trash bin.
Outside food & beverages are not allowed.
*Working Media will be granted an exception for laptop bags, backpacks, etc. but must enter through Gate 3 and show your MEDIA Gameday pass. All media bags are still subject to search by gameday staff.

Athletic Fieldhouse
Access to the Athletic Fieldhouse is limited to credentialed individuals and players ONLY. NO EXCEPTIONS. All [credentialed] persons entering the fieldhouse will be subject to bag checks. Fans looking for a restroom may use those at the Collins Family Pavilion or port-a-potties located throughout the Donald's Demon Alley area.
Banners/ Flags
Banners hung in Turpin Stadium must be approved by the NSU Athletic Marketing Department by 12:00 p.m. on the Friday before gameday.
For the safety of all fans, flags on poles are not permitted in the stadium. Email Dr. Haley Taitano at blounth@nsula.edu for more information.
Camera Policy
Hand-held cameras (without the flash on) are permitted for personal use. Any cameras outside of this category must obtain a media credential from the NSU Sports Information department by 12 p.m. on Friday, prior to a scheduled home contest. Call 318-357-6467 for more information.
Concessions
Concessions at Turpin Stadium are operated separately and independently of Northwestern State University Athletics by Sodexo. Pizza Hut, Smoothie King and Mustache Mike's Italian Ice are also available in addition to regular concession stand items. Concessions stands are located in the east and west concourses.
Conduct
NSU Athletics and the LHSAA expect all fans to conduct themselves in an appropriate manner and expects everyone to treat all fans, players, coaches and officials with courtesy. Failure to do so may result in ejection from a game. Examples of prohibited behavior include, but are not limited to, throwing objects, demonstrating unruly behavior, attempting to enter the field of play and/or engaging in any behavior that endangers the safety of any other people.
***The unlawful possession, distribution or use of any drug or controlled substance is prohibited on the NSU campus. Violators of this policy shall be subject to the full measure of state and federal laws, city and parish ordinances and university disciplinary actions.

Parking

Fans are encouraged to park in any Lot marked as "FREE PARKING" on the map, including LotsB, D, F and G. Lots A,C, and H will be limited to credentialed staff, media and officials. Lot E will be utilized for Team Buses only. Handicap parking is also located in Lots A,B, and C and is accessible only to those with a state-issued handicap hang tag or license plate.
Disability Seating
Handicap seating is located on the West and East concourse levels and on Level 3 on the West Side. Every entrance into the stadium is handicap accessible. Wheelchair access seating is available on the East and West side concourse levels. For more information, contact the NSU Ticket Office at (318) 357-4268.
Elevators
There is only one elevator with limited access to the handicapped or elderly, as well as to VIP credentialed guests, inside the concourse area located on the west side of Turpin Stadium. ROTC cadets will operate the elevator and will stick to a strict gameday elevator protocol, except in the case of an emergency.
Field of Play
For the safety of all participants and spectators, field access is strictly limited to properly credentialed individuals at all times before or during the game.
First Aid
In the event of an injury an individual may contact the nearest Police Officer or Event Staff person for emergency assistance or call 9-1-1. Police Officers or Event Staff persons will contact the paramedics on site if necessary.
Food and Beverages
Outside food and beverages are prohibited with the exception of one (1) factory-sealed water bottle per person.
Gates into the stadium
All gates entering into Turpin stadium will be open 60 minutes prior to kickoff. The Northwest Gate will remain closed.
High School Coaches
Unfortunately LHSCA membership does not admit coaches to this year's championship games because of attendance restrictions in the COVID-19 pandemic. Turpin Stadium will be limited to 25 percent capacity (about 4,000).
Improperly Parked Cars
Or those parked in a restricted area will be towed at the expense of the owner. Parking lot attendants will be on hand on gameday to assist you.
Lost & Found
Lost & found is located on both the East and West sides of Turpin Stadium in the satellite police station (right outside of the main concession stand).
Pets
All pets are prohibited in Turpin Stadium and any designated tailgating spots. (Exceptions will be made for service animals assisting those with disabilities)
Press Box Access
Only credentialed personnel will be allowed into the press box, located on the 5th floor. All media should fill out a media request via LHSAA.org

- Balls (Beach balls, baseballs, footballs, etc.)
- Confetti or glitter
- Coolers
- Drugs
- Fireworks/flares
- Food and Drink
- Frisbees
- Illegal Substances
- Laser Pointers
- Lighters
- Picnic Baskets
- Tripods
- Umbrellas
- Weapons. No weapons are allowed in the Stadium. Possession of a firearm or any other weapon is strictly forbidden. Possession of such a weapon will result in immediate confiscation, ejection and possible arrest.
- Any other items that are deemed by game management staff to be unfit for entry
The following items will be permitted after inspection:
- Small Signs (no poles, sticks or braces allowed)
- Binoculars and binocular cases
- Cameras and small camera cases
- Small bags, purses and fanny packs (must comply with the clear bag policy)
- Small radios (must be used with an earpiece)
- Blankets
- Single Seat Stadium Chairs

Re-Entry into the Stadium
Guests are not permitted to leave Turpin Stadium and return on the same ticket. Readmittance to Turpin Stadium will be allowed only in the case of an emergency. Please see security personnel prior to exiting Turpin Stadium.
Restrooms
Restrooms are located throughout the East and West concourses in Turpin Stadium. Stadium restrooms will not be open to individuals tailgating on stadium grounds. Port-a-potties are located throughout the tailgating area and restrooms are also open to tailgaters at the Collins Family Pavilion.
Smoking
Northwestern State University is a Tobacco-Free Campus. Turpin Stadium and the NSU Fieldhouse are non-smoking facilities.
Solicitation/Flyers
Solicitation in or surrounding Turpin Stadium including parking areas is prohibited unless otherwise approved by NSU Marketing & Development Staff. Contact 318-357-4278 for more information.
Media Personnel
Media, Radio, and Television personnel will have entry access through the concourse on the West side of Turpin stadium. Credentials may be picked up at the Athletic Fieldhouse with prior arrangements made between the media and LHSAA Staff.
Turpin Stadium
Built in 1938 and renovated in 1979, the stadium is named for former head football coach Harry "Rags" Turpin. More recent renovations to Turpin Stadium include new purple chairback seats (2016) a new scoreboard with HD video (2017), and enhanced front entrance and parking lots (2018). Water Fountains
Water Fountains are located on the West and East Side concourses in Turpin Stadium.
