STUDY HALL
GradesFirst is utilized to track the student-athletes’ study hall time.  When a student-athlete enters the academic center, he/she can swipe his/her student ID card at the front computer to "sign in" to study hall.  Upon completion of studying for that time/day, he/she can then swipe the ID card again to "sign out", the computer will then provide for the student-athlete the exact time was spent in study hall up to that moment, and exactly the amount of time he/she has remaining for the week. All coaches and academic coordinators have access to study hall reports through GradesFirst which allows them to make sure everyone is doing their study hall time as expected.

ENHANCED ACADEMIC PROGRAM (EAP)
GradesFirst is used to remind the student-athletes about their EAP Meetings, as GradesFirst will send a text message and an email to the student-athlete an hour prior to the appointment time to ensure that he/she remembers.
GradesFirst is also utilized to track the student-athletes’ attendance record as part of the EAP program. Class checkers are stationed in various academic buildings throughout the campus 15 minutes prior to start of the class, and the student-athletes are required to check in with them to verify that they are in class. Class checkers record the attendance daily while the advisors utilize the record during the weekly/bi-weekly EAP meetings.

TUTORING
A student-athlete can request a tutor via GradesFirst. Once a request has been made, the tutor coordinator will set up an appointment, with a tutor that based on subject requested and availability of the tutor.  GradesFirst will send a text messages to the tutor and student-athlete to remind each them of the appointment.  Each tutor also has access to GradesFirst, which allows them to submit a "tutor report" on each student-athlete with whom they meet.
