NATCHITOCHES -- Table sales are underway for the bi-annual Scholarship Auction '09 dinner benefiting Northwestern State athletics Saturday evening, Aug. 29 in Prather Coliseum.

 

The event, which combines a dinner, entertainment and silent and live auctions, has been held every other year since 1989. The first 10 auctions have generated about $500,000 in support of scholarships supporting NSU student-athletes.

 

There are 40 eight-seat tables available for $500, and tickets are also available for $125 per couple.

 

Exclusive front-row seating is also available for $1,000. Front-row tables seat 10 guests, and all benefactors will be recognized as event sponsors and will receive a complimentary gift.

 

A ticket or table purchase includes an invitation to the 6 p.m. social hour sponsored by Tobacco Warehouse, the 7 p.m. dinner catered by Sodexo, and an invitation to participate in the silent and live auctions.

 

All proceeds benefit the Demon Victory Fund for athletic scholarships.
