Giving Options/Scholarships
Unrestricted FundsUnrestricted Victory Fund donations (i.e. donations made without specific instruction) give the Athletic Director the flexibility to apply resources where they are most needed to support all men's and women's intercollegiate sports and offset scholarship costs that continue to increase every year.
Capital Projects
In addition to supporting the Victory Fund, we encourage you to consider contributing to Capital Improvement Projects, including additions, upgrades, and expansion of our current facilities. (see Second Century Campaign)
Endowed ScholarshipsFinally, we encourage you to consider contributing to our Endowed Scholarship fund. Endowed Scholarships support student-athletes attending Northwestern State University by assisting coaches who aim to recruit and retain scholarship athletes and providing those student-athletes with scholarship support. Gifts of $10,000 or more, made either in one time allotments or in two or three year commitments allow donors to create a scholarship to honor or commemorate a person or persons of their choice. Leave your legacy to Northwestern State Athletics and ensure our future excellence!
Restricted Giving ClubsDonors can direct their support to their favorite sports team(s). Clubs such as the Sixth Man Club (Men's and Women's Basketball), Hat Trick Club (Women's Soccer), Demon Backers (football), and Outfield Club (Women's Softball) raise funds which specifically support projects and operations related to their ballclubs. Individuals interested in making restricted gifts should contact the administrative assistant of that particular program.
