TAILGATING [Click here for Tailgating Map]
NSU offers several tailgating options included reserved RV parking. For more information call
318-357-4268 or email jacklichm@nsula.edu.
Known as Donald's Demon Alley, the tailgating area boasts a lively experience prior to game at Turpin Stadium. It is the plan of NSU Athletics to provide an outstanding game day atmosphere that encompasses more than the game itself. With that said, certain rules and restrictions will be in place to ensure the safety of all our patrons.

Tailgating, tents and vehicles are not permitted on the marked practice fields.
Charcoal and propane grills are allowed and must be placed at least 10ft from RVs and vehicles while in use. However, it is preferred that propane grills be utilized for increased safety. If using a charcoal grill please make sure to extinguish or cool hot coals appropriately. Containers will be provided throughout the tailgating areas for safe disposal of hot coals. Do not place charcoal or other flammables in trash cans.
Tents are allowed provided they are no larger than 10 X 10, placed directly behind your vehicle and do not impede foot or vehicular traffic.
Northwestern State University and the City of Natchitoches are not responsible for any tailgating items that are left behind prior to entering the stadium. It is the responsibility of all fans to securely lock their valuables in vehicles.

COLLINS FAMILY PAVILION: Alumni & President's Tailgate
Northwestern State Alumni are invited to join fellow NSU Alumni for the 2017 football tailgating season. The NSU Demons have five (5) homes games this year and the NSU Alumni Association will be tailgating at all of them. All tailgating events will be held at the Collins Family Pavillion on the Demon practice field across from the tennis courts. The Alumni Association tailgates will begin two (3) hours prior to game time. Cost is $10 per person (all you can eat and drink) or FREE for NSU Alumni Association Members. All NSU Faculty/Staff tailgate for FREE. We hope to see you there!
