2023 Cross Country: Continuously finished second among Lady Demons in each meet ... clocked a collegiate best with a 16:12.6 in the 4k, placing 32nd ... also ran a 16:59.7 in the 4k at the Rice Invitational ... posted a collegiate best mark in the 5k at the Cowboy Stampede, running a 20:10.5, finishing 26th ... ran a 21:31.8 in the 5k at the LSU Invitational to place 25th ... finished 68th in the 6k at the Watson Collegiate Cross Country Classic with a season-best time of 26:05.7 ... clocked a 26:00.0 in the rain in the 6k at the Southland Conference Championships.
2022 Cross Country: Opened the season with a 3-kilometer race at McNeese (9/2), running a time of 11:40.7, placing 29th. Ran a time of 21:13 in the 5-k at the ULM Warhawk Invitational (9/17).
Ran a PR of 21:04.0 at the Lake Charles Toyota McNeese Cowboy Stampede (9/24). Ran another PR in the 5k at the University of Arkansas Chile Pepper Festival (10/1) with a time of 20:48.1. Placed 61st at the Conference Championship with a time of 25:53 in her first collegiate 6k.
2021 Cross Country: Opened her college career at the Stephen F. Austin Lumberjack opener (9/3) where she placed 14th in the 2-mile race with a time of 14:17.1… Ran the 4-kilometer at Louisiana Tech (9/18) clocking a time of 19:42.6… Competed in her first 5-k of the year at the Toyota Cowboy Stampede (9/25) finishing with a time of 23:07.6… Raced in the conference championship (10/29) where she placed 54th overall and clocked a time of 28:37.7 in the 3.72 M. Awarded with the 2021 SLC Honor Roll.
High School: Competed in cross country and track at Rosepine High School while also being a cheerleader … was the cross country district champion as a junior … finished runner-up at the district meet as a sophomore and senior … was a two-time state qualifier as part of the 1,600-meter relay … also a three-time regional qualifier in track.
Personal: Daughter of Lisa and Dennis Thompson … the oldest of four siblings with one younger brother, Ethan, and two younger sisters, Lexa and Lena … biology and music business major with plans attend physical therapy school ... finished third runner-up at the 2024 Miss Louisiana competition.
