Started all 25 matches on the season in her first season moving from middle blocker to outside hitter...led the team with 312 kills and a 3.51 per set average...finished second on the team in digs with 293 and a 3.29 per set average...the only player in the Southland to rank in the top 10 in the conference in kills per set, points per set and digs per set...led all non-liberos in digs on the season...had 13 double-doubles on the year including four in her first five matches as an outside and six straight at the end of conference play...recorded the first 20-kill, 20-dig match at NSU since 2019, one of just three such matches in all of the Southland all season...became first player to record 20 kills in a match with a then career-high 21 against Southern on opening day of the season (8/30)...had five total 20-kill matches during the season...alongside Teresa Garza became first teammates to each have 20 kills in a match in program history with her 20 against HCU (10/31)...set a career high with 23 digs in the 20-kill match against the Huskies...moved into second on NSU's career block list with 55 on the season...averaged 4.08 points per set, the ninth best single-season average making her and teammate Teresa Garza the first teammates to each average four or more points per set at NSU in the rally scoring era.

Started all 31 matches on the season in her sophomore season on the way to an even more prolific year in program history...broke the NSU single-season block record with 164 total blocks and the block per set record with a 1.52 average...led the Southland Conference in blocks and blocks per set for the second straight season...broke the SLC rally-scoring record with her 1.52 block per set average...finished seven seventh in the NCAA in total blocks and sixth in blocks per set...became the fastest player in NSU history to reach both 200 and 300 career blocks during the season reaching the former in 42 total matches and the latter in 61 career matches...tied the NSU single match record with 13 blocks at Texas A&M-Commerce (Sept. 26)...had three total double-figure block matches, giving her now six of the top 10 best single-match blocking performances in NSU history...had 16 matches on the season with five or more blocks...recorded two more kill-block dobule-doubles on the season at Texas Southern (Sept. 5) with 11 kills and 10 blocks and at Commerce (Sept. 26) with 10 kills and 13 blocks...finished third on the team with 191 kills and led the team with a .293 attack percentage, the sixth highest single-season percentage at NSU...had 10 matches hitting better than .350 including a stretch of four straight matches during conference play...named SLC Defensive Player of the Week following 18 blocks across four matches...during the regular season against the top four teams in the SLC Tournament, Thompson totaled 53 blocks and a 1.77 per set average including 19 in eight sets against SLC champion Southeastern.

Started all 32 matches in her freshman season at NSU on the way to one of the most prolific years in program history...finished the season with 148 total blocks, the second most in a single season in program history...her 116 block assists was also the second most in a single season and her 32 solo blocks were good for sixth-most all-time...Thompson was the first freshman to ever record 100 blocks in a single season, joined later in the year by teammate Jordan Gamble...the duo were the first pair to each record 100 blocks in a season at NSU...led the Southland in total blocks (87) and blocks per set (1.18) in conference matches and led the SLC overall with her 148 stops on the year...had double-digit blocks in three different matches, including in just her third collegiate match against Fairleigh Dickinson (Aug. 27)...the seven solo blocks she had against FDU is tied for the second most in a single match in program history...also tied the single match block assist record with 10 stops against Southeastern (Nov. 1)...became just the third player in program history to record a kill-block double-double in that Nov. 1 match against SLU with 11 kills...accomplished the feat for a second a week later with 11 kills and 10 blocks against Texas A&M-Commerce (Nov. 12), the only player to have multiple kill-block double-doubles in a career, let alone a single season...had 14 matches on the season with five or more blocks including doing so in seven of the final eight matches of the season...finished second on the team with 271 kills and a 2.05 per set average, leading the team and finishing second in the conference with a .340 hitting percentage, the second-best single-season mark in program history...secured double-digit kills in 12 matches with two or fewer errors in six of them...hit .330 or better in five of the final six matches of the season and had a .468 attack percentage in the three matches NSU played in the conference tournament...named conference defensive player of the week following her first weekend at NSU thanks to her performance against FDU and averaged 1.46 blocks per set, 19 total, in three matches.

High School
Two-sport star in volleyball and soccer at Clear Creek HS...three-time all-district selection in volleyball and four-time all-district honoree in soccer...named volleyball newcomer of the year as a sophomore and district MVP as a senior...named Galveston County Girl's Athlete of the Year in 2021...helped lead her team to four playoff appearances during her prep career...district defensive MVP in soccer following freshman and junior seasons and first-team selections as a sophomore and senior...three-year Superintendent scholar and graduated summa cum laude...member of the student council...NTHS, NHS and Rho Kappa Honor Society.

Personal
Majoring in biology...daughter of Jennifer Kuhl and Jason Thompson...has one brother, Brady, and a twin sister, Ryleigh...mom was an all-american soccer player...plans to pursue a career in nursing and life's ambition is to make a difference in the world and help people.
