2001 Season (Senior): Compiled an overall record of 9-10 in singles...went 8-8 at No. 1 and 1-2 at No. 2...finished 9-9 in doubles with partner Katy Wallace...went 7-9 at No. 1 and 2-0 at No. 2.

2000 Season (Junior): Posted a 7-8 overall record in 2000 with a 4-5 record in Southland Conference play at No. 2 singles...combined with Katy Wallace to go 4-7 at No. 1 doubles and paired with Jelena Lukic to go 0-1 in No. 1 doubles.

1999 Season (Sophomore): Finished first season at Northwestern State with an 8-7 overall mark, 5-5 in SLC matches, and teamed with Merlin Prezens for a 7-6 record in doubles play...posted an 8-6 record in No. 2 singles play, 0-1 in No. 1 singles.

1998 Season (Freshman): Competed for Appalachian State.

High School: Lettered all four years in tennis and basketball at Alexandria High School...great competitor in high school, leading her teams to state championships all four years...attended Menard High School during freshman and sophomore seasons...as a freshman, was a member of MHS's basketball district champions...attended ASH her junior and senior seasons...was Class 4A state champion in singles play both seasons under head coach Jimmy Looper...graduated from ASH with a 3.8 GPA which ranked in the top 10 percent of her class.
 
Personal: Born Oct. 2, 1979...daughter of Sammie and Gary Matthews...currently majoring in psychology...plans to become a criminal psychologist.
