2005 Season (Senior): Finished with a 7-12 singles record, playing almost exclusively at the No. 5 spot, where she went 7-11...posted a 6-11 doubles record, playing with Anneline Zerwick and Camila Prado...went 5-10 at the No. 1 spot with Zerwick.

2004 Season (Junior): In singles action, Nieto had a combined record of 11-6 while splitting time at the No. 4 and No. 5 spots...at the No. 4 spot, she compiled a record of 2-2, and at the No. 5 spot, she compiled a record of 9-4...her strong play at the No. 5 position earned her Second-Team All-Southland Conference recognition...in doubles action, she spent most of the season teamed with Anneline Zerwick at the No. 2 spot and finishing 13-5 overall...named Second-Team All-Conference in doubles with Zerwick.

2003 Season (Sophomore): In singles competition had an overall record of 5-15 while playing in the No. 4 spot all year...in doubles, Nieto finished 12-7 in the No. 2 spot while teaming up with Anneline Zerwick.

2002 Season (Freshman): In singles play, finished with a 7-11 record overall...was 0-2 in the No. 3 singles position and 7-9 in the fourth spot...was 7-11 in doubles as well...teamed up with Ngoc Luu...had a 3-8 mark in No. 2 doubles and 4-3 at No. 3.

High School: Lettered one season in volleyball at Champagnat High School...finished as a semifinalist in her regional and a quarterfinalist in nationals as a junior...finalist in two state tournaments as a senior...represented Miranda State in the team national tournament as a senior...also a member of the dance team in high school.
 
Personal: Majoring in graphic communication...born Alexandra Ximena Nieto Ramizez on Sept. 27, 1983...daughter of German and Susana Nieto...has one sister, Claudia, who attends the University of South Florida.
