2015 Indoor Season: Redshirted
2014 Outdoor Season: Performed at eight meets in the 400m, 400m hurdles, and 4x400… had five top-five finishes including two first place finishes – one in the 400m hurdles at SLU Lion Invitational and one as a participant in the 4x400 at McNeese State Cowboy Relays… ran 59.52 in the 400m and in the 400m hurdles had a season best of 1:00.21 at McNeese Spring Time Classic… with Quianna Griffin, Consuela Lindsay, and Keshira McKnight had a season best time of 3:45.34 at the Texas Relays.
2014 Indoor Season: Participated in sprints and hurdles at five meets… ran 59.25 for her best time in the 400m at the SLC Indoor Championships… at LSU Twilight ran season best 9.57 in the 60m hurdles… was part of the 4x400 relay team with best time of 3:51.71 at the SLC Championships with Quianna Griffin, Shannon Moore, and Consuela Lindsay.
High School: 2013 graduate of Zachary High School with a 3.1 GPA… was on the honor roll and was part of the Interact Club and the Sports Medicine Team… two-time district MVP as a freshman and senior… as a freshman, also podium placed in the 4x200 and 4x400 indoor… a state finalist in the 55m hurdle as a sophomore… 4th place at state in 300m hurdles as a junior… as a senior, was district champion, and placed 3rd at state in 300m hurdles; 4x200 district champion and state runner-up; 4x400 and 100m hurdles district champion… track team was Indoor State runner-up and district champs during her freshman and sophomore years… in her junior and senior year, team was district and regional champs… team captain as a senior.... coached by Chris Carrie and Donn Mghee.
Personal: Daughter of Cornell Lain and Joan Demasiliere… born February 21, 1995… has one brother, Paul O’Brien; and two sisters, Alex and Jasmine Lain… mother is a nurse, father is a computer engineer… majoring in health and exercise science… plans to attend graduate school to become a sports physician with hopes of owning her own practice.
