2014 Outdoor Season: Competed in the javelin event during the outdoor season.  Placed 1st at the SLC Outdoor Championships with a mark of 157-11.00.  Also placed 2nd at the Georgia Tech Invitational with a distance of 153-10.00.  Made it to the NCAA Preliminary Rounds placing 27th with a mark of 148-00.00.

2013 Outdoor Season: Placed 20th at the NCAA Regionals with a mark of 149-04… finished third in the javelin at the SLC Championships with a throw of 151-04…won the javelin at the McNeese Springtime Classic after throwing a season-best 157-09…posted five top-three finishes.

2011 Outdoor Season: Competed at the NCAA Championships in javelin throwing a mark of 156-11 to finish 11th… placed fourth in the NCAA re­gional with a throw of 158-06, which was her season and career best... Won javelin at the SLC Championships with a mark of 145-11… finished first at the Demon Invitational with a throw of 152-10… also won the jav­elin at the UTA Bobby Lane Invitational with a 142-1.5 mark… had five other top 10 marks.
 
High School: Jessica lettered all four years in track, basketball and softball… she was a district champion, regional runner-up and an all-dis­trict outfielder for three years… she was also a state runner-up and 2nd runner-up one year each… graduated in May 2010.
 
Personal: Daughter of Kristie and Jason Talley… born April 8, 1992 has one brother, Matthew… majoring in general studies with a minor in social studies … expected graduation date in May 2015.
