2016 Southland Conference Commissioner’s Spring Honor Roll
2017 Season:
• Appeared in 51 games, starting 48 primarily at third base.
• ranked second on the team with five home runs and 27 RBIs.
• had 10 multi-hit games, third on the team.
• went 5-for-9 with a pair of doubles and scored three runs in a series against Incarnate Word from May 5-7.
• swatted a three-run, first-inning home run to start the Demons' 9-3 win in Game 2 of an April 28 doubleheader at Houston Baptist.
• homered twice and drove in four runs in Northwestern State's 7-4 win against No. 23 McNeese on April 22.
• went 3-for-4, tying a career high in hits, at Southeastern Louisiana on April 14.
• tied NSU's eventual 5-4 win with a sixth-inning home run against ULM on April 5.
• drove in a run in four straight games from March 26-April 1.
• had three straight two-hit games at Kansas (March 4-5) and at Kansas State (March 7).
• broke up Nicholls' shutout bid with a seventh-inning solo home run on March 11.
• went 2-for-4 in both of the first two games against Arkansas State, driving in two runs in NSU's 9-5 win on Feb. 25.

2016 Season:
• One of three Demons to appear in all 57 games, starting 56.
• as NSU’s primary shortstop was involved in 47 of the Demons’ school-record 71 double plays.
• collected 13 multi-hit games, topped by a 3-for-4, three-RBI performance in a win against Stephen F. Austin on March 25.
• the three hits against SFA included two doubles and tied a career high.
• had five three-game hitting streaks during the season
• connected on his lone home run of the season in the April 17 series finale at New Orleans.
• had five multi-RBI games, including three-RBI games at Southern Miss (Feb. 28), at Texas A&M (March 6) and against Stephen F. Austin (March 25).
2015 Season:
• Appeared in 34 games, starting 31, while splitting time between second and third base.
• started the first 26 games of the season, including 23 straight at third base.
• enjoyed a career-best 3-for-5 day with three RBIs in a 6-2 win against Creighton (Game 2, Feb. 20).
• slugged his first career home run as part of a 2-for-4 day in a win against Sam Houston State (Game 2, March 14).
• knocked his second home run of the series against Sam Houston State on March 15.
• suffered a hand injury during the series at Southeastern Louisiana and was in and out of the lineup the final two months of the season.
• tallied four multi-hit games during the season.
• handled his first 27 chances of the season without committing an error.
2014 Season:
• Appeared in 20 games, starting eight.
• showcased his versatility by starting six games at second base, one at shortstop and one at first base.
• collected the first multi-hit game of his career (2-for-4) in the first game of a doubleheader sweep of Southern (March 1).
• added his lone RBI of the season against Southern on March 1.
High School:
• Four-year letterman in basketball and baseball, three years in cross country and two years In golf.
• named first-team All-State his senior season
• made 16 appearances (13 starts) on the mound, going 7-3 with a 1.55 ERA.
• led Hornbeck to the 2012 Class B state championship, winning MVP honors in district, parish, the state tournament and on the All-State team after batting .420.
• hit .400 for his career (72 games) with 88 hits, 43 RBIs and 94 runs scored.
• three-time all-district and two-time (sophomore and junior seasons) All-State basketball selection.
• scored 749 points as a junior, hitting 55 percent of his shots that season.
• member of National Jr. Honor Society, 4-H Club, Spanish Club and Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
• won the excellence award every year of high school and placed at district and state literary rallies.
