• he is the nephew of head coach Mike McConathy and his grandpa is John McConathy, whose No. 14 Demon jersey is retired.
• majoring in politics, philosophy and law at the Louisiana Scholars’ College, with a 3.93 GPA
• chartered a Pre-Law fraternity on campus and plans to attend law school.
• voted to NSU’s Homecoming Honors Court in 2014 and is a member of Phi Kappa Phi honor society and Phi Beta Delta international studies honor society.
• interned for U.S. Senator David Vitter in summer 2013.
