2010 SLC All-Academic First Team
2011 Season (Senior): Finished 8-14, mostly at No. 3...posted an 8-11 record in doubles, playing primarily at No. 1 spot with Olga Bazhanova.
2010 Season (Junior):Â Finished 13-7 in singles playing primarily in the No. 2 position... Went 7-4 in conference singles play... finished the season 17-3 in doubles action while going 10-1 in conference action... played in the No. 1 and No. 3 positions with partners Olga Bazhanova and Dragana Colic.
2009 Season (Sophomore):Â Played the No. 1 and No. 2 spots in singles with a 11-10 record... finished the season with a doubles record of 16-6... played in the No. 3 spot in all doubles matches teaming with Suncica Strikic and Daniela Posada...finished conference doubles with a 7-3 record.
2008 Season (Freshman): Played at the No. 4 and No. 5 singles positions and compiled a 12-9 record... finished 14-6 in doubles action...she teamed with Daniela Posada, Dragana Colic, and Marie Scriba to win to win 11 of her final 13 doubles matches...finished 5-6 in the SLC Â in singles and 8-1 in doubles conference matches.
High School:Â Attended Gymnasium in Zenica, Bosnia, and Herzegovina where she participated in math and democratic competitions as well as tennis... top ranked junior in Bosnia.Â
Personal: Born August 16, 1989... only daughter of Semir and Sadika Curukovic and has only one brother Anad...mother Sadika is a nurse and father Semir is an entrepreneur... majoring in pre-medicine and has a 4.0 GPA...plans to attend medical school and become a surgeon.
