BEAMOUNT, Texas – Consistent rain throughout the day has led to the postponement of Northwestern State's Southland Conference baseball game against Lamar on Saturday.
 
The Demons and Cardinals will play a 1 p.m. doubleheader Sunday at Vincent-Beck Stadium. Both games will air on ESPN+ with game one of the doubleheader airing on 100.7 FM KZBL in Natchitoches. Free streaming audio of game two will be available on www.NSUDemons.com and through the Northwestern State Athletics mobile app, which can be downloaded free for Apple and Android devices.
 
Lamar won the series opener, 5-0, on Friday night. This will be the third doubleheader of the season for Northwestern, which has split each of its first two twinbills of the year.
