BEAUMONT, Texas -- The threat of severe weather in southeast Texas has forced Saturday's Southland Conference baseball game between Northwestern State and Lamar to be moved to an earlier start time.

The game now will be played at 1 p.m. instead of the originally scheduled 5 p.m. start time. 

Saturday's game will still air on ESPN+ and can be heard on www.NSUDemons.com and through the Northwestern State Athletics mobile app, which can be downloaded free for Apple and Android devices.
