CONWAY, Arkansas - Three weekends in a row, three weekends jam packed for the Northwestern State Lady Demons as they are taking a trip to Central Arkansas for the UCA Fall Invitational starting Saturday.
 
"Compete. That's the main focus at practice this week," head coach Marcos Morelli said. "Those who compete will win. Those who don't will lose. We are concentrating on that."
 
Four Lady Demons are making the trip: junior Zoi Spyrou, sophomores Maria Farina and Honoka Umeda and freshman Pika Doberlet.

Garcia showed up and showed out this past weekend in doubles, paired up with Spyrou, with a win against Texas State and UT-Arlington. The junior also took home a victory in singles, taking care of North Texas.
 
Garcia paired up with freshman Valeria Ortega for the first time coming together this fall season in a loss against Louisiana Tech.
 
Umeda and Ortega shared a court on Sunday, taking care of Southland Conference rival Stephen F. Austin keeping the Demon's doubles record pristine.
 
Spyrou and Ortega both fell in their singles matches on Sunday.
 
"We need to keep our identity," coach Morelli says. "When you doubt yourself, you miss or lose. Play tennis, play simple. Those who can make it simple succeed."
 
Following the trip to Arkansas, they find head back to the friendly confines of Natchitoches for the Axsom Air Lady Demon Classic starting Oct. 4.
