Nehemiah Barrett, LB, 6-1, 230, Shreveport, La, Huntington HS
High School: Two-time all-district selection for coach Steven Dennis' Raiders … recorded 38 tackles (14 for loss), 12 sacks, six forced fumbles, five quarterback hurries and a fumble recovery as a junior as Huntington went 7-4 … helped Huntington post a 6-5 record as a sophomore by recording 38 tackles (8 for loss) and seven sacks … also competed in track and field … has a 3.5 GPA.
Personal: Son of Leon Lewis … has one brother, Joseph … plans to major in unified public safety administration … hopes to become a firefighter.

Jimmie Duncan, WR, 5-11, 180, Alexandria, La., Alexandria Senior HS
High School: Four-year letterman for coach Thomas Bachman's Trojans … has helped Alexandria post a 12-0 record thus far in 2024 … part of four playoff teams for the Trojans, who have won 32 games thus far in his four seasons … three-year letterman for coach Lance Brasher's basketball team … two-year track letterman … honor roll student has a 3.5 GPA.
Personal: Son of Monique Monette and Jerald Duncan … has two sisters and a brother … comes from an athletic family with cousins in the NFL (Clyde Edwards-Helaire, Travis Etienne), college football (Trevor Etienne, J'mari Monette, Jermaine Minor) and formerly the NBA (Rashard Lewis) … plans to major in health and human performance … hopes to play in the NFL and become a sports medicine doctor. 

Sam Nations, OL, 6-3, 280, Ruston, La., Ruston HS
High School: Four-year starter for coach Jerrod Baugh's Bearcats … honorable mention all-state and first-team all-district, all-area and all-Lincoln Parish as a junior, helping Ruston go 14-0 and win a state championship … all-district and all-area selection as a sophomore as Ruston went 12-2 and reached the state title game … started Ruston's quarterfinal game as a freshman … also lettered in powerlifting … two-year Student Council treasurer and a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, National Honor Society and Bearcat Buddies … has a 3.8 GPA.
Personal: Son of Julia and Toby Nations … has two brothers, Petyon and AJ … plans to major in applied science and allied health … wants to attend occupational therapy school and work with special needs children and adults.

Personal: Son of Tiffany and D'arcy … has three brothers – Sean, Damarcus and Kam – and two sisters, Tia and Kaliyah … plans to major in business administration … hopes to play in the NFL and become an engineer.

Ben Taylor, QB, 6-1, 180, Bossier City, La., Airline HS
High School: Louisiana's No. 2 all-time passing leader in yardage, throwing for 12,373 yards and 135 touchdowns in his Viking career … helped lead coach Justin Scogin's Vikings to an 11-1 record as a senior and a state quarterfinal berth, throwing for 4,357 yards and 47 touchdowns … threw for 4,189 yards and 49 touchdowns as a junior, leading the Vikings to the state quarterfinals.
