HOUSTON – Overnight rain Friday night initially forced the postponement of Northwestern State's Saturday baseball game against Houston Christian to later Saturday evening.
 
The expectation of more rain then forced the postponement of the middle game of the Demons' series with the Huskies, marking the second straight weather-affected weekend for NSU.
 
The two teams will conclude their three-game league series with an 11 a.m. Sunday doubleheader at Constellation Field in suburban Sugar Land, Texas.
 
The Demons dropped the opening game of the series, 14-13, at Husky Field.
 
NSU will send right-handers Drayton Brown (2-4, 4.81) and Alex Makarewich (2-3, 6.03) to the mound against HCU right-handers Walker Zander (1-3, 6.10) and Will Ripoll (0-1, 4.50).
