BATON ROUGE–Paige Wise was unable to advance to the next round on the third day of the ITA Southern Regional on Saturday.
 
Wise started the day off for the Lady Demons in singles main against Cora Barber from Tulane. Wise fell in straight sets 6-0, 6-2.
 
Doubles pairing Sofi Garcia and Sara Erenda came up short in the first round of doubles main against Auburn University's Kaitlyn Carnicella and Ava Esposito Cogan, 8-4.
 
Garcia and Erenda are to play in the quarterfinals of the doubles qualifying later in the tournament.
 
Erenda is also set to play in the quarterfinals of the singles qualifying against Ariane Monlleo Sanchis.
