NATCHITOCHES – Members of the Northwestern State Athletic Department are hitting the road later this month, looking to connect with Demon fans and alumni throughout Louisiana and Texas.
The Demon Social Tour is a 17-day, eight-stop event that will see Director of Athletics
Kevin Bostian, Assistant Athletic Director for Development
Ryan Hall and select Northwestern State coaches spending a couple of hours sharing their vision for the future of NSU athletics.
"We are fired up for what is in store for Demon Athletics this year and want to connect with our great supporters before we get going this fall," Hall said. "I hope our alumni and supporters can make plans to attend and hear from our new Athletic Director,
Kevin Bostian, and our team as we lay out our vision for Demon Athletics in 2022-23 and beyond. Fork 'em Demons, and we will see you soon."
The tour kicks off May 31 at Tunk's in Alexandria before taking a week-long hiatus. It resumes June 7 at Superior Grill on Highland Road in Baton Rouge, starting a run of four stops in as many days along I-10 in south Louisiana and Houston.
Following visits to Bobby Hebert's Cajun Cannon in New Orleans (June 8), Rufino's in Lafayette (June 9) and Kirby Ice House in Houston (June 10), the final week of the caravan stops in Austin on June 14 at Shoal Creek Saloon and at Maggiano's in Dallas on June 15 before concluding at Superior's Steak House in Shreveport on June 16.
All stops are free to the public, begin at 6 p.m. and will last approximately two hours. Light hors d'oeuvres will be served at each stop along the tour.
