NATCHITOCHES – Opening conference play typically is reason enough for fans to come to Northwestern State basketball games.
 
The NSU Athletic Department will give its supporters even more reasons to come to the Southland Conference openers for both the Demons and Lady Demons this weekend.
 
NSU and The Quad apartment complex will give away a five-day, four-night cruise for two at each of the games, starting with Friday's 1 p.m. women's game and finishing with the men's 2:30 p.m. Saturday matinee.
 
Those trips are not the only post-Christmas gifts on the docket for those who visit Prather Coliseum on Dec. 30 or 31.
 
In addition to a trip on the crystal blue waters, there will be a Sasquatch Bluetooth cooler bag provided by Coca-Cola that will be given away as well as a VISA gift card worth $100.
