NATCHITOCHES – Northwestern State athletics long has enjoyed the support of local merchants.
 
With the situation surrounding the novel coronavirus and COVID-19, the NSU Athletic Department is asking Demon fans to come together and lend support to the businesses that have done the same by taking the pledge to #GoNatchitoches and #GoLocal.
 
"During this unprecedented time, one of our biggest priorities is supporting our partners and their local businesses," said NSU General Manager of Corporate Partnerships Erika Moulder. "We knew when all of this started, our local businesses were going to feel the impact of the restrictions and closures. We have a responsibility to our partners to show up for them the same way they always have shown up for us."
 
Although restaurants and bars are closed to dine-in services through at least April 13, to-go, drive-through and call-ahead orders are being accepted.
