NACOGDOCHES, Texas – Northwestern State sophomore
Joshua Wilkins picked up where he left off this past seasons as the Demons' top runner.
Wilkins won the individual title at the Stephen F. Austin Dual Meet between the two schools Friday, finishing his 5K in 16:10.21.
The Lumberjacks won the men's and women's team titles by scores of 38-20 and 39-20, respectively.
On the men's side,
Grant Butts (10
th, 17:13.85),
Hunter Wamack (11
th, 17:21.67),
Lucas Moncla (12
th, 17:25.40) and
Dylan Dunford (13
th, 17:36.33) scored behind Wilkins.
Sophomore
Jacqueline Rushford led the Lady Demons with a fourth-place finish, completing her 3,200 meter run in 12:14.80.
