NSU TV offers replays of 'Delaney' 30 For 30 screening locally

People around the world are savoring the ESPN 30 For 30 short film "Delaney" telling the inspiring, heroic and hearbreaking story of Northwestern State two-sport All-America Joe Delaney.

"The Full Story of the 30 For 30 Film 'Delaney' " is being replayed to Natchitoches-area cable TV subscribers through Sept. 4 on NSU TV.

The film was screened on Aug. 4 at NSU's Magale Recital Hall in front of 400 people in advance of its global release Aug. 19 on ESPN.com and Grantland.com. The event included remarks by 'Delaney' producer/director Grant Curtis, NSU president Dr. Jim Henderson and athletics director Greg Burke, and after the film was screened, a panel discussion involving Curtis and some of Delaney's Demon teammates.

Rights restrictions prevent NSU TV from replaying the film, but it can be accessed online at
 
The program will replay four times daily at 4 a.m., 8 a.m., 2:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m., said David Antilley II, manager/executive director of NSU TV.
 
NSU TV can be seen in Natchitoches and nearby communities on SuddenLink Channel 22, CP-Tel Channel 55, and UP1 and UP2 Channel 8.
