NATCHITOCHES – The Parkway boys and St. Joseph's Academy girls won the team titles Saturday at the Northwestern State Pre-State Meet.
 

Parkway finished with three of the top five runners, including individual winner Jacob Hammons (16:15), second-place runner Cole Billiot (16:16) and fifth-place finisher Cameron Rogers (16:31). All five Panthers' scorers placed in the top 12 as Parkway (29 points) bested the field by more than 100 points.
 

Gabbi Chauvin led St. Joseph's with an eighth-place finish (19:41), but all five of the St. Joseph's scorers placed in the top 16.
 

Parkway's Sara Funderburk took the individual girls' title by 16 seconds with her time of 18:08 to guide the Lady Panthers to a second-place finish.

The meet drew 241 female runners from 23 teams and 205 male runners from 25 squads.
